Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in 2010 after her hit songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her ability to compose catchy, but deeply honest songs place her in the forefront of popular music of the present along with an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records offered her a contract as an important label. She began to prepare for her debut.
