Cassie Scerbo, an American singer-actor and dancer first gained notoriety when she teamed up with the group of all girls 'Slumber Party Girls' that was host of the CBS children's variety show Dance Revolution in the middle 2000s. She did, however, quit the college to the Slade School of Fine Art at University College London for a time. She began creating music at a young age. Her first attempt at sharing music from her MySpace album as early as 2008. Her music attracted an illegal basement party promoter. Charli was able to start going to in raves, and then began to go under the brand name Charli. Songs were a hit in the local scene soon and she followed up with singles!Franchesckaar! as well as Emelline / Art Bitch. Asylum Records was her first record label, which she signed with in the year 2010. Alex Metric can be heard singing in the song of 2011 End of the World. True Romance, her debut album, was launched on April 13th, 2013. It received positive reviews from critics. The first week of release, it reached No. 85 on the U.K. Charts for Albums. Charli began working immediately on her debut album. Soon after, Charli XCX was featured in Fancy by Australian artist Iggy Azalea. It reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. Sucker her debut album was made available in the month of December and quickly became a worldwide sensation. In the United States it hit number 28 on the Billboard 200. The album received positive reviews from the critics. Break the Rules from this album was chart-topping in many countries. In July of 2015, she announced she was in the process of putting together her third studio album.
